Extreme Makeover Home Edition gave Salt and Light new lights, a coat of paint, new freezers, refurbishing the Ministry’s office, lobby and multi-purpose room.
Extreme Makeover not only did the physical structures but also raised the outreach of the Salt and Light Ministry. The donations for the projects have been boosted. Salt and Light used to distribute food weekly to 240 families. After the publicity from Extreme Makeover, Salt and Light was able to get more food supplies and they can now distribute food to 330 families, which is an increment of 90 families. This number is still increasing from time to time.
