Khalid sheikh Muhammad, other to face trial in new york
Attorney General Eric Holder will announce Friday that five Guantanamo Bay detainees with alleged ties to the 9/11 conspiracy, including mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, will be transferred to New York to go on trial in civilian court, according to an Obama administration official. Holder will also announce that five other detainees will be sent to military commissions for trial, said the official, who did not want to be named.
Holder has set a news conference for 11 a.m. to announce the decisions.
